Overview:

The SwFG Towel Exchange is an opportunity for members to share their designs with, and be inspired by, other fiber artists.  To date, there are 8 participants. 

Specifications:

Weavers: 
Fiber: 100% cotton, 8/2 or finer
Threading: Twill
Tie-up: 3/1 or 1/3 twill, or blocks of 3/1-1/3 if using 8 shafts or more
Treadling and colors: weavers choice
Size on loom: 20" x 30" (under tension and unhemmed)
Sample size: min. 3" x 3"

Knitters:
Fiber: 100% cotton
Stitch: Knitter's choice
Size:  10" x 10" before finishing
Sample size: 3" x 3"

Products:

Weavers: 
Please provide for each participant 1 hemmed towel and 1 sample, with draft showing threading and treadling.  If individual towels are treadled differently, include treadlings used in the draft (do not provide a sample for each treadling, choose one for the sample and note which treadling it is)

Knitters: 
Please provide for each participant 1 hemmed towel and 1 sample, with pattern/stitch.
