Cheryl and Diane (with help from Fern) hosted a fabulous meeting on the use of supplementary warps. Using the format of bookmarks, we learned the versatility of adding a splash of supplemental warp to a project.

NO weaving experience was necessary---Cheryl, Diane and Fern set up their looms for us to experiment with (many thanks!).

Cheryl designed motifs that were whimsical as well as beautiful - the Jolly Roger was a particular hit. Diane's design had a classic elegance and demonstrated the use of variegated yarns to add depth. Fern reminded us of the power of words and the many ways to combine letters and figures!
