| The amazing Tom Knisely led us through an exploration of the diversified plain weave structure. We each selected a two colors for the "heavy" fiber. Tom and Sarah then matched those colors with "fine" tencel. Tom lectured on the structure and what seems to be endless possibilities using that structure. Each participant wove samples enough for everyone, then got to work on a scarf to take home. During the weaving, we experimented with different weights and colors of yarn to further understand the design possibilities. All participants went home with a beautiful woven garment, an invaluable notebook of diversified plain weave samples, and lots of great memories. And MANY MANY thanks again to Tom and Sarah, and to Carol and Ron for opening their home to us!
